The 1.1-hectare park — nearly the size of one-and-a-half football fields — now has features such as a cascading pool, where members of the public can enjoy a foot bath.

Route 2: MRT Yishun (NS13) exit D/E to Yishun Bus Interchange board (59009) bus 800 at Berth 7 for 8 stops alight at Blk 114 Stop ID: 57129 and cross Sembawang Road (Overhead Bridge) and walk along Sembawang Road turn left onto Gambas Avenue

Separate receptacle just for egg cooking (20 minutes or so will give you that glorious lava yolk with the egg whites still slightly runny, 45 minutes running hot spring water to be cooked)

Cascading Pool

Water cools naturally as it flows down a four-tiered pool, starting at 70 degrees Celsius at the top and reaching the bottom at 40 degrees Celsius.



Soak your feet or sit by the shallow Cascading Pool.

Details the history of this unique site in Singapore.
First discovered back in 1909, the hot spring was popular with villagers who believed that the water flowing from it had healing powers and medicinal benefits. Later in 1922, when the site was acquired by soft drinks giant Fraser & Neave (F&N), the water was bottled and sold to the public. During World War II, the area near the well was bombed but was later converted into thermal onsen baths during the Japanese Occupation.



The original well where the ground water used to be drawn from was preserved
