Sims Avenue Park Connector connects the cycling routes of the eastern parts of Singapore to the central area. It comes close to Geylang Park Connector which links to Tanjong Rhu Promenade, allowing visits to attractions such as Singapore Sports Hub and Gardens by the Bay. It also connects to Siglap Park Connector, which is connected to East Coast Park and Bedok Reservoir Park.


Former Geylang Fire Station (is the second oldest Fire Station built Singapore, after the Hill Street Fire Station. It was opened in 1929 and served the eastern part of Singapore.)>

Masjid Darul Aman (A squarish minaret in this Mosque Building Fund Masjid combines Malay architecture and Islamic art. Nominated for the prestigious Aga Khan Award in 1989 as an excellent example of tropical architecture, the masjid features the early pitched-roof structure commonly found in the Malay archipelago. Built in 1986, the masjid located in the East can accommodate up to 3,500 people. Besides madrasah classes, it is also popular venue for haj courses organized by travel agents.
