Pasir Panjang gets its name from the ‘long sandy beach’ in Malay, as it used to be a sandy beach that stretches from present day Labrador Nature Reserve to the junction of Clementi and West Coast roads.

The shoreline has long shifted away from the vicinity of Pasir Panjang Park, this steps show the last shoreline is.
Nature Playgarden
Inspired by the coastline, the play equipment integrates into the sandy terrain where children can engage in free play and sensory discovery.
Horn bollards that have been used at Tanjong Pagar Terminal since 1972. These mooring bollards, together with several other unique maritime artefacts found in the park, were donated by PSA Singapore.
